This is not a "who is the best dj" Question. It is "who is the best you ever HEARD" question. I have been going to clubs since 1972. Thats a lot of clubs over the years. I have heard hundreds of DJ's, all kinds.
For me, the very best was Dan (Pooch) Pucciarelli.
Bobby Vitterari of Trocadero fame and a guy here in Vancouver known as DJ Dicky Doo who played at Celebrities. No idea what his real name is.

Besides MYSELF???(Just kidding) The best I've ever heard was DJ Tony Humphries, & not to say that I'm riding his jock or anything, because my favortite DJ of all times, was and always be, to me, DJ Ted Currier of the WBLS in NYC, fame. That's who I've developed my style from, because of his smoothness.
But Tony, when was rocking Club Zanzibar in Newark, NJ would mix records together that had me saying: "How in the hell did he do that"???:icon_confused: Tony did one mix one night with James Brown's: "Give it up or turnit loose" with a cut on the Strictly Rhythim label called: "The Difference" (can't remember the name of the artist), but it had me and everyone on the dance floor losing their minds!!!:icon_lol:
To me, Tony Humphries is the best I've ever heard play at a Club, (next to myself):icon_mrgreen::icon_mrgreen::icon_mrgreen:! !!
