I can not remember the name of the song or the singer. But it was a disco number one hit and the singer from remembering pictures is a black woman with a simple afro. The song was about her daughter and her daughter is now on the cast of Mad Tv. The singer died I believe and I can't remember her or the song. The song was featured on one of those Vh1 top 100 polls. This lady was known for hitting this amazing high note.
