Hi everyone
I am working on a house/dance remix of the Angie Gold track "Eat You Up" and so far I have had to use the original track, but EQ'ing everything but the vocals.
I would like to get in contact with her to see if she will send me an acapella, and even allow me to make this remix.
I've ran some Google searches but haven't found much.
Could someone please give me some hints or advice on how I could get in touch with her?
Thanks for your time.

You'd be better-off trying to contact the Producer, Les Hunt. He probably owns the track. And would be the one who's in a position to grant "permission", or "license" the track. Thereby providing you with the accapella, or multi-track master.
Angie may have recorded the song. But that doesn't mean she has any "rights" to it.
Of course, my ownership of my own productions hasn't stopped anyone from multiple re-releases of them...So what the hell do I know?

Any suggestion on where to search online?
Hi Mobass, I knew Angie VERY well in the seventies. She was just a very young, beautiful lady who asked me as a friend to play the backing on the organ for her. We had no drummer, no harmony, just her, me and an old reel to reel ferrograph. She needed it to send to a UK TV talent show "Opportunity Knocks". On the strength of the tape she was successful and appeared in "Op Knocks".
You may not believe it, but the song she sang was a very old standard "You'll never know just how much I love you"...... whenever she sang it shivers would go not just down my spine, but everywhere. Her voice was absolutely beautiful... and her looks, well, it must be the Italian in her!
At that time I played with her on many occasions live, lost contact when she went abroad and I went in the cruise liners but I met her again not a very long time ago and at that time she was living back in Manchester.
I know how you could contact her through her relatives, but I could not possibly publish those details on the web. I don't know if you can contact the moderator of the forum and ask as I am happy to receive a personal email to help you out. Best Regards - Stubro (ex-Lonnie Donegan, ex-Butlin's, ex-Canberra cruise liner, ex-Blighty's M.D. [largest NW England night club], ex-Martholme Grange, in fact, ex- everything! Have a GREAT day!
What a great thread!
This is what yiou do...
Stubro - contact Angie's relatives and say a producer is looking to get in touch and they mind if you forwarded their contact details.
Mobass - send Stobro a PM with your email address and contact details. At the same time take Steven's advice and contact the producer too.
Let us know how you get on!
