Possibly French Gay Disco Song

Hello All

Hope someone can help with this. I heard a song whilst visiting America and listening to one of the XM dance stations that I have remembered the tune too but cannot for the life of me remember the song or the artist. It sounded like a French woman singing in English in a very Liza Minelli type way. The song was very long and had three parts each lasting about 8 minutes if I recall. It sounded a bit like "Losing My Mind" by Liza Minelli. Not sure if anyone can help with this, I seem to remember the DJ said it was quite famous possibly amongst the gay community?

Help would be appreciated

Wow brilliant, will have to try something harder for you people, I thought no one will know this from the description. Thanks a bunch at leat I can get the song out of my head and onto my iPod, brilliant, now I wonder where I can get the really long version from.
