Hi!
The song was (99% sure) from the 80's with a female singing something like "...to remember" in the chorus. Please help me, this tune has been stuck in my head for the past few days! :icon_biggrin:
Oh, I also believe that the BPM is around 120...
PS. It's not Shalamar's A Night to Remember... :)

Maybe a bit for info would help. About when in the 80s do you think it came out? Early (80-83)? Mid (84-86)? Late (87-89)? What sort of genre would you say it fell in? Hi-NRG? New Wave dance? R&B? Funk? Was it a chart-topper? Did you hear it on the radio or only in the clubs? Was it popular in Europe moreso than the US? Or vice versa? The female vocal, did she sound more soulful? Pop? Rock?

Maybe Milli Vanilli - Dreams To Remember?

Sorry...learning english yet!! :icon_mrgreen:
-Brasil!-
A real love!
I'm sorry but I can't tell much info of the song, since I heard it on the radio this week for the first time (I'm 17 years old). Homewer, I'd say it's from the first half of the 80's (1980-1985). I'd also say it's pretty much an usual disco/funk-jam. Oh, and I think that at the chorus (or at least at some points) the keyboard player was playing quarter notes in the same high pitch - hope you understand, the usual cliche in the genre... :icon_razz:
Oh, it wasn't Milli Vanilli either. Big thanks for the help anyway, you have been answering really quickly - even though I can't guide you very much.
Here's a couple of choices....
Remember What You Like by Jenny Burton (your description fits this one)
or
Remember by Vivian Vee
There was also Remember by Gino Soccio
Thanks, needlefingers, but unfortunately none of those was the right one.
I can't really come up with any more info, but the word "remember" was in the end of the sentence the singer was singing - something like "daa daa to remember". I don't know if that helped at all :icon_razz:
