This is a very well known misprint. I have it as well and I was sort of pissed as I was hoping for the real "Give Me Love." No big deal though since the record was only a dollar or two.
JUST PICKED UP THE ATLANTIC 12" OF CERRONE'S CALL ME TONIGHT.IT'S A PROMO FROM 1979 WITH TRACK LISTING TIME OF 7:46 AND CAT. # 214.OKAY MY QUESTION IS ABOUT THE FLIP SIDE.THE LABEL SAYS GIVE ME LOVE FROM THE 1977 CERRONE 3:SUPERNATURE VOCAL VERSION.WHAT I HEAR IS A REMIX OR RECORDING OF GIMME SOME LOVING OFF OF THE 1977 KONGAS LP.ANY IFO WOULD BE HELPFUL
DISCO
The word evokes not just a type of music or a kind of dance or even a style of dress.It\'s also a new social order of black and white, gay and straight, rich and poor, all hot, sweaty and, most likely, high, together.

What's 'Call Me Tonigt' like? The LP that this came from, 'Angelina' is available on CD & was thinking of getting it as I've got quite a few of cerrone's LPs now but this one passed me by.(must be that massive amount of stuff released in '79!)
...ya gotta beat the street......
The LP Angelina is not bad and call me tonight is a great track. I bought it last week in a second hand trade for 1 euro... I saw it many times in paris, but the cover is awfull.
bombardez moi ce son indescent colonel!
Yes tdaram, the cover is awful, but most Cerrone covers are!
...ya gotta beat the street......
The best and sweetest version on "Call me tonight is on the IX album " Your love Survived". In my opinion.
Thanx 4 that info. What year was that later version of 'Call Me Tonight ' out 'cos I recently bought a copy of 'Angelina' & as soon as i heard this track I recognised the song as I used to hear a more hi-energy version in clubs in the late 80's. Was this version Cerrone's later version? I actually prefer the later version to the '79 original.

The album "Your love Survived" came out in 1982 it's a 2x LP set. There was also a 12" single of "Call me tonight " released as a promo on the Malligator label. This piece I know is very hard to find as I had only seen it on E-Bay 4/yrs ago. Got lucky and won bid for $4.00. A steal since I had never seen it before or since. It's in a black sleeve with the title and Cerrone letters in yellow. Just like the "Workout" single. But this is the strange part, there is no catalog number to this record. Definite promo. By the way I have an extra copy of the "Your love survived" lp. Contact me if interested. rmenpark@aol.com
