COSA NOSTA DISCO BAND (featuring Santo Malfatti) - Tarantella Disco (1978) :o
Now, about that Cosa Nostra... I admit it, the cover was so tacky, I had to have it! I'm sure this is some stupid industry ripoff, but really... There are 4 girls and 4 guys. The guys are back to the camera, doning black suits, white hats and some guns. The girls stay in the front: one with a tiny flower dress, another with tiny red dress and black nylons, another in street clothes (all in high heels, of course!)... and the fourth is a brown-skinned barefoot dancer with just a tanga, some glitter and a huuuge belly!!! (maybe she was caught off-guard by the photographer). Anyway, it's a gas.
In the back there are the girls all over this Malfatti guy (I guess it's him) and it mentions the musicians A. Pierucci, C. Salvini, H. Casalunghi, B. Mastroccola (don't laugh), W. Calavaggi, P. Caruso (yes, he was too), E. Mastrangello, F. Giovanni (our disco fella? :) ) and V. Pommarola (the original sauce man, of course). Arrangements by Teddy Bugs.
It's a Brazilian edition... could it be a Brazilian band faking Italian roots? I'm not sure.
It don't mean a thing (if ain't got that swing)
