    Best LP artwork/photo?

    This has got to be
Musique's "Keep On Jumpin'" - surely a picture of it's time, those satin shorts and visors!!

Other classics - Love and Kisses' Accidental Lover
Amanda Lear - Diamonds For Breakfast

    any others?

    Best LP artwork/photo?

Well... For artwork, Lucretia and the Azoto 14.008 - Dance skinsation, someone really outlived his childhood/puberty fantasy here..

For picture, i always thought the two Starguard albums looked soooo 70's and really disco.
And imho any cover with France Joli on it 8)

One of the album covers that come to my mind is a 12" cover of the song entitled, "Get up get on your feet". Done by Carte Blanche. A picture of two nude women on roller skates dancing. It was really tastefully done, and very seventies, even tho it was in the 80's. I had the album years ago and as I remember it showed everything. I may be gay, but like I said, it was a very good cover. 8)
    \"Dancing the night away\", forever!!!

Artwork could be "Seven Deady Sins" by Rinder & Lewis, the cover shows a black & white close picture of Rinder & Lewis (BUT THEIR EYES ARE COLORIZED !). I love this cover.

Picture could be the NICE'N'NAASTY girl ELLEN MICHAELS (the Salsoul cover girl) and her famous black shirt ! She is an icon.

    1. Amanda Lear: Diamonds For Breakfast - gorgeous early Pierre & Gilles art.
    2. Grace Jones: Fame. Totally Disco.
    3. Poussez: Poussez - for The Look
    4. Lightning: Lightning - same as above with the addition of squad skates. Found the vinyl recently.
    and more recently
    5. Panasonic: Uranokemia/Telako - elegant grey & silver technominimalism with perfect typography

I like the artwork on the cover of the DR. BUZZARD'S ORIGINAL SAVANNAH BAND self titled album. (with Cherchez La Femme/Se Si Bon on it)

As for picture, CAROL DOUGLAS-Midnight Love Affair. Both front cover and back cover are nice sultry pics of her.

Donna Summer's "Live And More" is my favorite, with a full close-up shot of her face singing away, head back.

Hey Marcio. I totally agree about Ellen Micheals. I can still remember being high and looking at the album for what seemed liked hours. Even turning it upside down
I also liked the babes the Crown Height's Affair albums.
    Find them and destroy them!

One of the most beautiful picture sleeves I've seen is the one of the 'Klique - Try it Out' album.

Concerning Artwork, the cover of the Azoto's LP Disco Fizz is original and beautiful. The cover of Meon "Freak-A" is very beautiful and sexy

Has everyone forgotten about Gino Soccio? Think about the artwork on such albums as "Outline" & "S-Beat"
Were they not the bomb or what?

    K-Bee:
Two nights ago I finally had the time to take a good listen to the album and... came to the conclusion that I like it... a lot! - well worth the $5 which I paid for it.

I dunno about you, but for me the B-side is the best, I love the funky/groovy sound of tracks #1 and #4 (Try it out and Tender footed), these are 8) tracks. A pity that neither of these tracks are available on 12".

And as I said previously in this thread: it comes with a nice cover as well!
