R.I.P. Miriam Makeba 1932-2008

Today the news came in that Miriam Makeba has passed away, short after she gave a concert. A heart-attack was fatal to her. Miriam Makeba was also a political activist and was one of the major voices against the South African apartheid. Her nickname was "Mama Africa".

She has had many great songs but we will always remember her for the classic "Pata Pata"
