This is a Brasilian classic called "Cravo e Canela" (Cinnamon Flower), and is performed by many artists, such as Brasilian female-singer Flora Purim,jazz-musicians George Duke & Charlie Rouse,etc...
The first time i ever heard it was on George Duke's album, "Brazilian Love Affair", including Flora Purim mainly humming/scatting-along with George & the band.
I couldn't immediately recognise this version but maybe it could've been recorded by either flautists Dave Valentin, Herbie Mann, Tim Weisberg,etc... or otherwise a female singer with a flautist as guest.
The bass-guitar style sounds much like that of Jaco Pastorius or Victor Bailey, who both were part of Weather Report.Originally Written by afromania:147437
I vaguely guess that it's a Weather Report-track, because the way that the track has been composed reminds me of Joe Zawinul's sound.
Hope this helps ... goodLuck !
