I'm thinking of making a compilation of summer and vacation type songs I would appreciate any suggestions. Songs about summer or exotic locations anything that evokes the feeling of sand, sun warn breezes etc. Here are a few examples that came to mind:

when I still used a cassette recorder for my personalized recordings (it could start and stop on a dime) I would take the vocal and instrumental versions of Musique's "Summer Love" and splice them together into a glorius 17 minute whole. Chic's "Warm Summer Night" and the Bee Gees "Spirits Having Flown" (my favorite Gibb tune of all time) would also be included on a compilation of favorite summer-themed songs

Ah yes the I also remember doing the pause edit with my tape deck. I must admit it took alot of pratice before I mastered the technique and was very glad when I finally bought two turntables and a mixer.
