I found this in my inbox this morning.
Amazon.com: Back To Now: MP3 Downloads: Labelle
If it was an actual vinyl record, I would imagine we would see the two men on the sides.
Ahhhh, the lost art of album covers.

I was very happy when I heard that the trio was signed to Verve Records and that their upcoming reunion album was gonna feature Gamble & Huff and Lenny Kravitz (among others) as producers.
I checked it out yesterday in store and I was puzzled when I saw that their cover of Sylvester's (You make me feel) Mighty real was not included on the commercial copy of the album.
Unless it's a hidden cut....so far I've seen it as a bonus track on iTunes.
Does anyone know ?? :icon_question:

I was looking for something "dancey" on it. I thought something out of those samples I did hear might come out later remixed.![]()
I bought this last night. Its good, not great (but much better than most of the R&B being released now). There is no "You Make Me Feel..." ghost track. Bummer.

Our fellow Discomusic.com member, Barry Walters, has a great interview with Patti Labelle on Out Magazine's website. He was able to talk to her about some great topics including the Labelle reunion, vocoders and the evil Prop. 8 in California! I think you'll be very pleased with her classy answers. :icon_biggrin:

Wow! It's funny this just got bumped up. Not 10 minutes ago, I found out that Labelle will perform at The Apollo Theater.
Harlem One Stop: LABELLE "Back To Now" Live At The APOLLO THEATER , Apollo Theatre
APOLLO THEATER FOUNDATION, INC. -- Upcoming Events
Can't make it myself that night, but wanted to let others know.
Should be a great night.
I was never a huge fan but I bought the CD a few weeks ago and I have been playing it a lot.I'm now interested in buying more Patti releases.
It is a very good album...though I have a few gripes.
1-It is such a short album...9 new songs (Track 10 is a 1970 recording of Miss Otis Regets.)
2-Their cover of Sylvester (You make me feel) Mighty real is missing (it's a bonus track on iTunes though.)
3-I would have loved a few more dancier numbers...
I've been hooked on Rollout ever since I first heard it.I know so many people hate it - but I love it.Dear Rosa is my favorite track. A great ballad produced by Nona Hendryx.

Why in the world would they leave the "dance track" ["You Make Me Feel Mighty Real"] off a Labelle cd--when they should sure as hell know that the GAY market [they likey the dancey]would be the first to snap this cd up???? :icon_eek::icon_eek::icon_eek:
Who are the idiots that released this?![]()
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
I've always preferred Nona Hendryx's vocals to LaBelle's.
