what a coinkydink . . . that's the same 45rpm 12-inch that I posted about earlier this week (purchased in Peoria). The sleeve's pretty cool too (as pictured in the video), as it's not a generic disco sleeve for the record company but a sleeve highlighting the actual artist. :icon_cool:

There's a San Francisco and Trocadero Transfer connection to "Discorecords"!! The records belong to Discorecords' partner, who danced at Trocadero the same time that Marky and I were there! Plus, he shopped at Aloha Records. Discorecords is now exploring through the collection.

After many Emails, I had the pleasure of meeting both of them live and in person this past Sunday at Remember the Red Party! Discorecords had just heard for the first time, and LOVED, Peter Jacques Band's "Counting On Love (One Two Three)".

When I posted this I figured there would be a "tie-in" from the Red Party!

I'm so looking forward to more of discorecords videos!

Sounds like the Red Party was an absolute blast! <jealous>

There is just something so wonderful about these youtube videos of placing the needle on the record and watching it spin....and I love the personal touch of being right in his apartment. What a setup! Makes me want to empty my closets and put my treasures out on display once again....lord knows I could use the closet space. :icon_cool:

Yeah thanks! I hope to get more posted soon.

OH yeah, Keefe directed me here. :) The Red Party was a BLAST!!! Thanks to everyone at White Light Productions who put on the party. I only wish it were more often -- AND that we lived closer. Sigh....

    The music lives on forever!!!

It was wonderful meeting you there, Keefe!!! We both were thrilled to see you out there capturing the moment. I was going to bring my camera but I thought it would be clunky and dangerous on the dancefloor! hahah YES "Counting On Love (One Two Three)" completely had me in ecstasy. I looked it up on youtube and of course videobuff has it up already. hahah that's not going to stop me from posting it as well.

After all the Emails, it was so GREAT meeting you guys in person too, Airn!!! Just wished we could have talked a little more, but there was some major dancing to be done!

And welcome to the Discomusic site!!! I think you're going to have even more fun exploring the Forum!

    Big hugs!
