To all Disco Historians
IMO the music tells most of the story
and as a Hip Hop head i can see major influences in how certain disco music spoke to the kids in the streets of the Bronx
like Baby Huey: Listen to me, Jimmy Castor It's just begun, ect
but the DJ's
the Party rockers
and the dancers of the early Disco era
and the drum breaks in many disco songs
(it was the drum break that played a major roll in Hip Hop music, cause Dj KOOL HERC focused on the break, and kept spining it back to extend the drums break)
did many other disco DJ's do this as well before 72?
what roles did they play
In Your opinion
please holla
