Alec R. Costandinos & The Syncophonic Orchestra: "Romeo & Juliet"

This one is also from the old times, before 80's. I remember the opening verses, which were not sung, but spoken:
"This is the story of Romeo and Juliet, newly augmented and amended"
Well, actually the words might have been a little different (a little), but you got the point.
Anybody with a better memory then mine ?

THAT was fast! Thank you ! Indeed, that is what I was looking for.
I can honestly say that this Lp is my #1 favorite album from the disco era.:icon_cool:
I have so many others but this one is always at the top of my list.
I was so glad when I found both suites on the 1988 LOVE & KISSES / ALEC COSTANDINOS Greatest Hits CD [SPLK2-8000 Unidisc].
KRIS
This was the first 12" I purchased. I would play it over and over while getting ready for a night on the town...and on the nights I stayed in would just dance around the house..it was a good exercise! =]
I was listening to Love and Kisses last night and I could not help but get up and glide around the house!
I just love the ochestra music...strings and such that you hear on such cuts as these and Voyage, and Beautiful Bend.
In an analogy to the "rock operas", I think we can call this, without any mistake, a "Disco opera".

Very good analogy, a disco opera. Lord knows there were too many rock operas in the 70's. But could this have been the first one in its time?
As far as medleys go....and I can't remember many in this genre....Al R.C. was a master of storytelling in musical type. Once afterward, Meco Monardo (on the Millennium Label, an associate of Casablanca) did the Wizard of Oz. Trendy stuff for what it was worth, and I know we disco lovers NEEDED that back then!
