it was a reminder of how mysterious some record producers seem to be? Though I haven't done much online searching, I've never actually seen Freddie Perren, Dino Fekaris, Michael Zager, Hal Davis, Michael Kunze, Cory Wade, Harvey Fuqua, Bob Esty, Tony Green, Patrick Adams and MANY others.
A lot of them are unknown to me as well. I still have yet to see a pictures of Warren Schatz or Bert DeCoteaux or remixer extraordinaire David Todd. Cory Wade's picture was on one of the T Connection LPs (I seem to recall him being a brown haired man with a moustache); Freddie Perren was pictured on the Hell Up In Harlem LP with the Mizell Brothers; and Patrick Adams has been pictured on various websites.

Disco Funk,
David Todd's photo is on this very site, but I'll let you search for it :icon_twisted:

Thanks for the info Bernie! I haven't had any luck finding it. I browsed the site using words like 'David Todd' and 'photo'. I didn't see him listed in the DJs remixers section either.

Two hints:
1. His photos appear in the "Clubs" section of this site.
2. The clubs were in Philadelphia.

Hi DiscoFunk,
Since David Todd wasn't in the people section, like he should, I have added him. See:

Thanks Bernie! I don't know if you saw the thread with Warren Schatz. He had some kind words about David Todd.

I just remembered the most mysterious producer I've ever seen on record: 'Tom Tom 84'. I noticed that on some late 60s record, he worked on with Gene Chandler, he called himself 'Tom Tom'. He must have added the 84 later on. There's nothing on wikipedia about him. I was beginning to think it was an alias for a group of people or production team, but then I came across some pictures on another forum that show him at work:

You have to scroll down a bit to see the couple of photos.
Strangely, Discogs has a different looking guy (a white guy) called 'Tom Tom 84', so I wonder who he really is:
