Yarbrough &....?
okay, you know the score!
Suddenly, out of nowhere, a song gets stuck in my head and I
can't for the life of me remember what it is.
I have a feeling it was a fairly big one back in the day so I hope
someone can put me out of my misery.
The chorus goes "Don't stop it - don't stop the music" - the tune
is uptempo, female vocal and as far as I can remember it is richly
instrumented with strings and horns and so on.
All help appreciated. Thanks,
Dex G
Yarbrough &....?
more than likely it is "DON'T STOP THE MUSIC" by STRANGE AFFAIR
produced by the people that brought us ULTIMATE "Love Is the Ultimate" Casablanca Records and TANGERUE.

Pulse, Disco kid,
Thank you for your swift responses. Appreciated. But I just checked,
unfortunately it is neither Strange Affair nor Yarbrough/Peoples...
I'm not sure of course, but I think the only vocal on the tune was
the hook "don't stop it, don't stop it - don't stop the music"
And then lots of piano, strings and horns around it. It's really
driving me mad here trying to come up with it.
If you have other guesses, please let me know.
