interested in making italo influenced music?

    hey there,
i am a producer based in london and am fed up of the usual plodding 4/4 rubbish that epitimised alot of todays house music - am interested in collaborating with other producers to create italo-influenced music, influenced by artists such as d-train, kano, and modern outfits such as metro area and danny wang.
    cheers,
    j

    neo-disco

Are you familiar with artists already doing this? There is quite a growing scene of artists producing music influenced by a mix of italo-disco and electro. One of the big areas where this music is emerging from is Holland.

The list can't be complete without Kiko aka Sinema, (& formerly Phunky Data) one of the most innovative French house act of the last years. I can't seem to find the Kiko-titled lp in France, but the Sinema-titled one is very easy 2 find, & a gem for all italo-disco lovers (with an electro-house spin, though).
Other productions of note are "Hitmaker" & "Italomatique", which as afr as I know are only available on vinyl (possibly on the Blackjack label).
