That's how the round sticker on the LP's cover promotes it :
From 1976:
It's a live performance LP from Redd Foxx favored comedian Dap Sugar Willie .... the monologues are done over a live band performing "disco" .
Musicians:
Universal Love:
Les Paul Rogue * Piano
James A. Campbell * Drums
Dennis Rogers * Guitar
Antonio Jordon * Bass :
Special Thanks To:
Dexter Wansel --- Moog Synthesizer
Don Renaldo --- appearance on violin
---And now ,
the final joke on the LP:
I don't generally talk about my aunt . But I got a jive aunt who didn't show up tonight ... she was invited . I'm gonna tell you about her. Hold it band :
My aunt went to a hardware store last Friday .
The man said, "Can I help you miss?"
She said, "Yes! I 'd like to have a 3 1/2 inch nut"
He said, "You wanna screw for it?"
She said, "No. --- But I'll blow you for that toaster!"

Baby, take me
high upon a hillside
high up where the stallion
meets the sun
I saw this listed a while ago on various websites, but the lack of audio samples from this album has made me shy away from it. I'm guessing it's somewhere between Rudy Ray Moore and Blow Fly? The band members aren't Philly. If it's not recorded at Sigma and/or it doesn't have any of the usual MFSB guys, I'm probably not going to buy it.
