JUst back from seeing Stevie Wonder...

..like going round your mate's house and him playing two and a half hours of his favourite tunes, and I get the feeling if he had been allowed he'd have played another two and a half hours. Pure genius x

Glad you got to see him, PhyllisHyman. Saw him as well this past Spring at Jazzfest. Thoroughly enjoyed it -- his talent is still overwhelming, his enthusiasm is still intact (amazing as he's been a star for 45 years now) and his willingness to connect to the audience and teach us a thing or 2. Too bad the past 20 years haven't been too, too kind to him commercially (as he dominated 60s, 70s & 80s radio). He'll always have my utmost respect:icon_cool:

Drlove, You're right about him connecting with the audience but there have been quite a few negative reviews because of his 'callback' routines..Most people around me loved it but the reviewers didn't get it. It's certainly not a greatest hits show but all the better because of that as far as I'm concerned. :-)
