    The Ones

Does anyone think this group could be the Village People for the 21st century? It suddenly struck me when I recently saw their photo in a magazine that this could be a strange possibility!

I would be really surprise if they make it as the Village People did. But we never know, indeed ...

PS : and would you compare flawless with macho man ?

Com K., although I think 'Flawless' is one of the best tracks of the 21st cenury so far (not difficult!), I dont think it comes near the fabulous 'Macho Man'! :)

The Ones used 3 samples for "flawless".

The first one is Tom Tom Club's"Wordy Rappinghood" (You're right on this one steely dan)

The second one is Gray's Gang "Keep on dancing" (right again)

But there is a third one, which is the bassline of the first Act of Alec R Costandinos' masterpiece "Romeo and Juliet".

Listen to it and you will clearly recognize it.
