    cool dancefloor jazz by...the Bob Crewe Generation!

    Yep, the BCG provided a weirdly wonderful, caleidoscopic score for the Roger Vadim sci-fi epic Barbarella. The ost album is a nearly continuos mix of proto-ambient and swinging, throbbing dance rhythms with bass riffs almost disco. The sound is indeed not rock at all, nor is it bubblegum or latin or easy or boogaloo or any other typically 60's music. The typical BCG orchestration is in evidence and the main boogaloo tunes Chamber of Dreams and the Angel themes are in fact rather in the style of Street Talk. Check the ost out should you need something different and very groovy!

    I've already downloade some tracks of the BARBARELLA soundtrack and you're right, it's fantastic!!! Cool stuff. Thanx for the info about Bob Crewe soundtrack. BTW, WHERE IS JANE FONDA????????? :lol: :lol: :lol:

    No, but the album was released on CD in Japan.
