Just got my hands on this new album coming out soon , contains all new revised disco version from different band and artist , a must have this record is pure disco heaven , should be releasing by the end of march : track listing is like this if this is not changed by then :
1. No one gets the prize - DIANA ROSS 9.06
2. Catch the rhythm - CARESS 11.00
3. Bra - CYMANDE 9.07
4. Where is the love - BETTY WRIGHT 5.59
5. Love to the world - LTD 7.19
6. Ask me - ECSTACY PASSION AND PAIN 7.28
7. You got me runnin' - LENNY WILLIAMS 4.19
8. Dance to the music - SLY AND THE FAMILY STONE 9.39
9. Give me your love - SISTER LOVE 8.13
10. I can't stop talking / Koke - GEANNIE BROWN / TRIBE 7.23
Brilliant in all aspect of it , i don't know the 3/4 of the album ( cos its all new material for me ), but for sure he kept all the integrity of the music , will probably be one of my best buy of 2003 :) :D :P 8)

Sounds like a very nice compilation - do you know if it will it be unmixed stand alone versions or is mr. krivit doing his magic mix touch once more?? I'd definetely prefer the unmixed option.

Hello K-BEE , 2 albums are coming out shortly from him , i think this one will be unmixed , the other one is from japan and has different track from the SALSOUL catalogue , this one will be mixed , but has for the EDITS OF MR.K it is suppose to be unmixed ...RU

Just saw the album listed online and the way it is listed will stay the same and all tracks stays unmixed , a good album to collect if your a disco and funk fan RU

it seems theres been great confusion over this c.d i mean in the cover/artwork sense as its been changed at the last minute but comparing my copy to yours the tracklisting is the same except for the timings !! well i wont go into it all as most tracks are a few seconds either way but track 6 ask me i only have 6.57 :o :o :o but track 10 i have 8.00 :lol: but you are right THE c.d of 2003 8)

Hello Discodisk , mine is a bootleg cd , ive ordered myself a copy , maybe its different but Ask me clocks at 7.28 and GEANNIE BROWN with TRIBE clocks at 7.23 but hey what a wonderful record 8) see ya RU!

These are some great choices of music. I always loved the Tribe/Genie Brown thing and still mix the two together. Wonder why the Lennie Williams track is so "short" in comparison?

I found it easy enough but there was a message under the titles (listed on the site, not the CD) saying: THIS IS A CONTINUOUS IN-THE-MIX CD COMPILED AND MIXED BY DANNY KRIVIT.

Now, it won't be released here until March 18 so I'm going by you two guys. It's UNMIXED, right? :-?

Yep ! Hi Nicky , it is unmixed and your right for LENNY WILLIAMS the cut is good , but i prefer the 12 inch version of this track , this one is good but too short !
There is also another cd releasing soon of Mr. KRIVIT ( a salsoul mix)( just be careful your not mistaking with this one) but the one releasing by STRUT RECORDS is unmixed, and its GREAT 8) JUST GREAT 8) 8) ! RU!

You're right --- I am bursting. I like his choices on this CD.

:lol: :lol: That "ummmmletsgo!" was a trip! And I admit, it could be used effectively after 'dead-end' records. Mostly though, I used it as a 'tease', bringing it in and out of the song playing. When I mixed, I skipped the 4/4-terribly-out-of-synch intro :x ) and got right to the horns. :)

Just wanted to let you guys know I have been playing this CD to death.

RU: Can't thank you enough for sharing this info. I'm not into buying cd's by dj's so I never would have searched around for this. It's awesome.

DD & RU: This cd is my first exposure to Mr. Krivits and I see he has other stuff out there. Are they like this? I'm sure some are mixed which I probably wouldn't want but are his music choices always this tight? I might have to check him out again. :)

Hello Nicky , there is an other album releasing soon from EMI RECORDS by Danny Krivit ( a Salsoul mix ) im pretty sure this one will be good too , cos he already did some Salsoul artist in his re-edit form , for sure i will get it as soon as it will be released , ill let you know and as for the GRASS ROOTS i dont have this album but im trying to get it , this double cd as full of 70's track ... :o

Thanks, guys. The funny thing is, I'm sure I've met this man as he was hanging around with my co-workers from The Gallery. I'm sure he was always a guest of Nicky Siano. I never had the opportunity to hear him spin. Sorry I missed him back then.
