I've always been SOO curious about this--essentially having every other major release from them from '75-83 or so. WHo's Kressmann?
Charly Kressmann, he also produced the Sticky Jones Gang. I have the track "Love Fever / Do It Now" by Speed Limit. Your typical Munich Disco. Not bad, not impressive. But pleasant to hear.

If you buy this record your life, will be better.
Obviously GM did not keep track of all the releases along the years, (I don't blame him if you have a look at what Jonas did) and needed assistance completing his own website. When I asked a few yrs ago, Jonas didn't get into details as to why he did not want to "give away" his own discography of Giorgio.
If you buy this record your life, will be better.
What I don't get is why it's a big deal? Granted, it'd be nicer for Giorgio to put the Discography on his site with a tribute-thanks to Jonas. But if not, there's no legalities stopping Giorgio (or anyone, for that matter...), from simply duplicating it. Jonas' personal notes could be replaced by Giorgio's comments. Or, eliminated, alltogether.
I won't pass judgement on Jonas. I don't know him, nor the circumstances of his decision.
As for Giorgio keeping track of everything he did... Or every version change... It's not as easy as you'd think. I've remixed & edited 100's of releases, over the years. And I still stumble across items that I think..."I did that? I don't even remember the song?"
Now, imagine writing, arranging, producing (sometimes just putting your name to paper, after doing a mix-down, ie: "Gettin' The Spirit") and releasing, on a Global scale. And that labels do variations on mixes and releases without telling the artists/producers, all the time. It's nearly impossible to do.

Jonas just read this post and provided his version of the facts...
"Let me explain: Giorgio's request came in the late 90s,
if I remember correctly, or at least so long ago that I remember
it was even difficult to save emails other than as text format.
I was a bit overwhelmed being contacted by him out of the blue.
He wanted to copy my discography and put on his site, that
is correct, but I told him that it's not complete yet, I constantly
update my discographies, details, cat no, dates, you name it,
and how would I then update it if it was on his site? I want
my discography, which represents his work, to be up to date,
and I explained these difficulties, and asked if it could be solved,
but I never got any reply back. That is the full and true story.
Best regards/Jonas W"
also Jonas sent me an additional remark:
I suggested he simply link to my discography instead,
so that he would always have access to an updated discography.
But, no reply. I don't think anyone who had an unfinished discography
would be proud to hand it over to Giorgio for everyone to see hmmm.
If you see what I mean. Regards/JW
