I know there's been past discussions about Dennis and Denyse LePage who made up the group Lime here on the board. Well I found the following item on the net which I thought might be of interest. A picture of the real members of Lime and the fakes who were hired to tour as them.
The text that went with these two photos:
"The success story of the husband and wife songwriting duo Dennis and Denyse LePage is one of my favorites. These two released their first album Your Love in 1981 and weeks later they were at the top of the dance charts in the UK, the US, Canada, and Mexico. The Lepages' became so successful that rather tour themselves they hired models to go on the road and perform for them as the act Lime."

2nd photo: The real Lime

Funny you should bring this up today because yesterday I was listening to my LIME folder on my iPod and just remembered that back in 1976 ; Denis & Denyse made their recording debut on Pacha Records [the same label as Nanette Workman's string of disco hits].
Their name was Le Pouls [french for The Pulse] and they did some sort of jazz, funk hybrid.Very experimental in a way...I remember catching them live on TV back in da days.
The picture on the jacket was a hoot !!
