    80's New Wave song (?)

Hi. It's a fast paced 80's electro/techno song about 118 BPM, and I think I got some of these lyrics down as close as I can get them. Basically they're the chorus to the song....

"Anytime will do, you don't need no appointment,
Make it right by you, you woooon't beeee diiiiisappointeeed!!!"

It almost sounds Juan Atkins-ish, but I'm not sure it's him, could be wrong though. Anyone know the artist and title to that? THX!!!:icon_rolleyes:

Take your time Disco1999, I know you will find it. This song has been racing in my head for over 20 years and I really wanna get the 12 inch badly!

Yes you're right, it is more synth pop than anything. I remember hearing lots of vibes too. Was too young to remember the verses though, but that chorus stood out like a sore thumb! :icon_lol:

Anyone else can help. MAYBE this track was more of a Eurodance thing. I only wish I could get a sample for all to hear. Where do they FIND those things??? LOL!

    Good luck.

:icon_idea:It's called "Body Mechanic" By Quantrant Six (Atlantic Records, 12"single). It was mixed by John 'Jellybean' Benitez with co-production by John Robie (C-bank, Freeeze, Jenny Burton, Soul Sonic force);who did a lot of production work with Afrika Bambatta and Arthur Baker.
