August the 8th 2008! It was last week! Many people married that day or did something else because the combination of those numbers are considered to bring you luck.
But has the world changed on that day? Yes-No?
It was the start of the Olympics where China demonstrated that it really has become a dominant superpower. The technical bravoure that was displayed during opening day (the facilities, the show) was breathtaking!
It was the start of the punishment of Georgia where Russia demonstrated that it really has become a dominant superpower (again). Nobody holds 'em back anymore, no U.N., no U.S. and certainly no E.U. The tandem Putin/Medvedev is the winning team in the New World Order Games!

And here I was thinking 8-8-8 was only my niece's birthday.
As for Russia and Georgia... you see what happens when Russia gets re-energized with all that cash from oil and other businesses?

And that money is going everywhere! Banks, companies, they are buying shares in strategic entities all over the world and all that cash comes from a small incrowd around Putin and Medvedev.
8-8-8 is the beginning of a New World Order but not the one president Bush Sr. had in mind!
Maybe I have to give a little explanation about the vid, in case people don't see what's happening.
It's the Georgian president Mikhail Sjakaasvili who's visiting the warzone, together with the French secretary of foreign affairs, Bernard Kouchner, who's acting for the E.U. (he's not in the clip). Suddenly a Russian army helicopter is flying over and a devastated president is protected by his bodyguards and rushed away from the scene. No shots were fired but it's a simple trick to say: "You are history, we know where you are and we can take you out whenever WE want".
Thanks for explaining the video. At first I thought they were shielding a wounded person.
Many of those Russian firms now have a strategic hold in the U.S. For example the old Getty oil company (formerly an American company) is now owned by Lukoil and has gas stations all over the States. Money is king!

"Villa Leopolda", the holiday mansion of King Leopold II of Belgium, in France was just sold to Michail Prochorov. He paid 496 million Euro for it, which makes it now the most expensive house in the world. Prochorov is a Russian mining tycoon and one of his best friends is....Putin :icon_lol:
