The same reason most disco is not on CD: insufficient demand.

And the fact that CD sales are pretty much on a downward spiral and that the actual CD is gonna be obsolete in the near future...sure won't help.

Maybe if the Broadway musical based on his songs is a hit we'll see more (I still find this"Jukebox musical" idea misguided, but hope I'm wrong).

That Hits and Misses set is only worth it for the previously unreleased Donna Summer *duet* version of the ballad Something's Missing (there are various rumours as to why her vocals were removed frrom the released version). The other major songs are ALL edits--especially annoying in the Donna Summer disco duets

I find when shopping for CD's on the net you really have to shop around, just like you use to do with real stores, to find the best prices.
