Thunderpuss is Barry Harris ("Dive In The Pool") & Chris Cox--2 DJ/remixers who teamed together to form Thunderpuss. Their first big hit was the remix of Whitney Houston's "It's Not Right, But It's OK". They also remixed Madonna, Pet Shop Boys, Kristine W., Jennifer Holiday, and Enrique Iglesias. Chris Cox was a DJ on the now-defunct LA dance radio station--Groove. He sounded so GAY, BUT one day he announced that his wife had just had a baby that day!!!! Well, Miss Jackson's birfed some babies too, so who knows????

Chris Cox was from 1989 - 1994 Chief-Producer by HOT TRACKS Remix Service.
At this time his remixes were still good, but I do not find Thunderpuss remixes good :-?

Barry Harris was one half of "Kon Kan" (I Beg Your Pardon)

    Excellent factoids...

Thanks Marky and Hot Disco Mix. I always thought that Thunderpuss was Peter Rauhofer from Austria, from Unique, Danube Dance and (of course) Club 69. I am not a big fan of Thunderpuss stuff either... I am a big Peter Rauhofer fan, so I am glad I now know they are two different things.

BTW Hot Disco Mix, I will move with my family to Berlin in May. So any shopping tips for vinyl and CD reissues are more than welcome! And I am glad to see that there are so many German posters here. Perhaps we can organise a Discomusic.Com Germany meet and greet, at which we would have to invite of course the master, Bernie, as a special guest.
