    More Wally Macdonald 6

Another four that need to be identified. There is no date on this master but alot of the songs are from 1989 and lots that are prior to that date. The master is titled Welcome To My
Nightmare" and the music is harder than most of Wally's previous stuff

    1. women rap artist possible title Tropical Confusion

    2. I think this might be skinny Puppy's "Love" but need
    confirmation.

    3. male vocalist possible title "(Come) Play With Me"

    4. House tune possible title "Move Your Head & Body"

you can hear these samples at my home page:

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Song #2 is "In Private" by Dusty Springfield.

The version featured sounds like the dub version.

These are very hard, Yetta ... they really represent a change of pace from what you normally post on your site.

    1) I thinks it's called "Tribal Confusion". Allmusic list 2 songs - one is by E culture and was made in 1993. However I think it sounds more like a house remix of some odd track by either Monie love, Cookie Crew or maybe even Salt 'n Pepa - but really, your guess is as good as mine.

    4) very early 90's gabba sounding track. Could be german or dutch. My guesses: maybe Human Resource, L.A. Style or Hardfloor.
but there's also some Detroit techno inspiration in there (the likes of Richie Hawtin when he worked under the F.U.S.E moniker.)
These are my thoughts - but all 'n all, I really haven't got a clue :-?

    K-Bee & Nrgbeat,

Thanks, I verified the Dusty Springfiield "In Private" and K-Bee
you got the group right (E-Culture) but like me mistook the name. The song's title is " Tribal Confusion" not Tropical. Thanks again for your help and yes K-Bee these are not like most of the rest of my posts. I left the most obscure for the last. There are about 10 more to go and most of these are very hard.

I wasn't able to identify the other three songs.

I can understand why it was called "Welcome To My Nightmare" that last song is pretty scary.

    Nrgbeat,
I agree mystery song #4 is very scary. Whenever I heard this type of music I left the dancefloor. After checking out the rest of the music on the master, I believe Wally made this in 1993 when his health took a turn for the worse. Here is the playlist
    which is still incomplete.
    1. Welcome To My Nightmare/Only Woman Bleed-Alice Cooper
    2. Is It My Dil-Doe-DJ EFX
    3. Heart (Dub) -Pet Shop Boys
    4.Deep Forest/Sweet Lullaby- Deep Forest
    5. Hot In The City-Billy Idol
    6. When Doves Cry-Prince
    7. Tribal Confusiion-E-Culture
    8. Relax-Frankie Goes To Hollywood
    9. In Private (Dub)-Dusty Springfield
    10. Go- Moby
    11. Sometimes-Max Q
    12. (Come) Play With Me ? (mystery song 3)
    13. Sensuous Black Woman- Lady Reed
    14.Between A Rock & A Hard Place-Payola$
    15. E=Mc2-big Audio Dynamite
    16. Taste So Good-File Thirteen
    17. Dancing In The Dark-Bruce Springsteen
    18. Sunset People-Donna Summer
    19. Move Your Head & Body ? (mystery song 4)

As you can see Wally was all over the musical map with this
    effort. But it worked.

    Truly a strange set!
Moby's - "Go" is one of the scariest tracks ever - especially in the so-called "Rainforest Remix". Does anybody know that mix?? Believe me, besides the name there's definetely noting new age about it.
