    Hey there Maarten,

    Check this out:

    http://www.amazon.fr/exec/obidos/ASI...106407-0612261

It's in French, but I believe there is a way to convert to English. Also, if you email them and let them know you don't speak French (if you don't) they'll respond in English.

This is how I had to get missing copies of mine because Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk weren't restocking.

    Good luck.

    Hey MAARTEN,
I checked out a couple sites for you. All could find were Volumes 1 thru 14 on WWW.CDNOW.com. I think they were used or something, but you might want to check it out. And WWW.YAHOO.com only had 8 and 9. Sorry I couldn't help. I'm not sure if CDNOW is the same as AMAZON. Good luck....

    Hey MAARTEN,
Me again. I found two other sites with those CDs. The first is at http://www.qksrv.net/click-1002195-14497, They have volumes 1 thru 14. And WWW.COLLECTORSCHOICEMUSIC.com or www.ccmusic.com. They only had vol. 8 & 9. Hope that helps a little. See ya. :D

    Hey, guess who... :D
My last reply, I promise. Just wanted to let you and who ever sees this about a web site I just got a bunch of CDs from. Old stuff like "Don Downing", Delegation", "Various artists TK records" and an "ODYSSEY" , which I paid over 14.00 at a music store, but at this site they are almost all going for about 3.98 to 5.98. Great deals. Check it out.

Maarten, try the German version of Amazon. They have waaaay more records, specially older & catalog ones. And many more sound samples.
It don't mean a thing (if ain't got that swing)

    Bobbchap,

The prices look great but don't go too crazy until you get a couple of those CD's home and listen to them. Years ago I purchased the DISCO-TEX & THE SEX-O-LETTES GET DANCIN' cd which happened to be on the Collectables label. I didn't get it off their site but I checked and it's still there, COL-CD-5075, with different art work. The cd sound is truly horrible. It's like they put all the music under a faux 'live audience' session or something. You can barely hear "Get Dancin'". On top of that, the CD jacket lists 14 tracks but the cd itself isn't formatted that way. The first six tracks run together for 19:06. Track 7 is actually track 2 and then tracks 8 - 12 run for 19:15. It's pure crap. There's no way to find what you want on the cd. My advice: PROCEED WITH CAUTION. :)

NickNack: regarding the Disco-Tex CD -- I have seen a reissue of this album by a UK outfit, which also included the follow-up album Manhattan Millionaire. IIRC, this was put out by the same folks who reissued Norma Jean's album, which was quite well done with excellent sound quality and bonus tracks. Not sure if this is the Disco-Tex CD you're talking about -- I always thought this was an absolutely dreadful act (aside from the name), so I never considered buying it.

Thanks so much. I will check the German and French Amazon sites. After all, I am now in Germany!

    Hi Graham,

The ONLY thing that interests me about Disco-Tex is the song "Get Dancin'". Strictly a memory trip for me and Bill. We weren't together at the time, but each of us remembers howling when this song came on. "Nobody cares how you wear your hair, darling." Please, how gay is that? I never bought the damn song when it came out which was the reason I picked up the CD.
