One year ago I bought The Sisters Love album that was issued in the UK, I don't know why, but I am glad I did.

In addition to the classic "Give Me Your Love", it contains several other great songs, that aren't really disco.
When was the Give Me Your Love re-edit (Danny Krivit?) first released and is it the only other mix that was done (in the original disco/soul/funk vein)? How was it made available?
Several years ago Kylie Minogue recorded the song Kids with Robbie Williams for her Light Years album (very very total disco that everyone should check out) that eventually became I think a Uk No.2 hit.
I think I'm not making it up that the Sisters Love song is heavily heavily sampled to make the base for this song. It is not credited anywhere.
Two days ago I browsed through a big portion of vinyls I bought 7 years ago including all of the 70s Supremes albums. I have never listened to any of the albums, I am waiting for a special moment, so it explains why I don't know all the songs they recorded and released, and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that in the Dynamite album they did with the Four Tops, they did The Bigger You Love (The Harder You Fall)

That song is my favorite of all the Sisters Love I have heard, it is really really powerful, and it's all thanks to the lead singer and her performance.
Who esle sang this song in the 70s or 80s and who performed it first and/or brought it to success (if any ever did), or was it always an album track?

It's a shame A Better Man Than You wasn't on the Sisters Love compilation... it's one of their best tracks! I was fortunate to find it on 7" for about 5 euros though :-) Expect to pay a LOT more on Ebay or Gemm...
