ID Snippet from "SOFT PACK" Disco Mixer

Ok, let's see if there is any Disco Genius out there ready to help me in giving a name to this track, Is a snippet from a bootleg mixed record that were so popular at the begin of the '80 (Hollywood, Bits and Pieces and so on style), The Bootleg is called SOFT PACK, white label under a "oh-so-dodgy" S.F. Records, and I believe is from around 1982.

The track I'm trying to identify is sung by a (black?) female voice and the words are:

"I'm young and I'm restless when you're not here with me
Your love is from another world and you give it so tenderly
....Days of my life were nothing but ecstasy
You're the love of my life and I love you eternally"

This is the only bit I have of the track, so I dont really know if is a verse, a bridge or a Chorus.
You can listen to it at

    zSHARE - unknown track.mp3

Any help will be immensely appreciated!!!!!

Here is a website/page that lists the songs in the Soft Pack mixer (provided this is the same one as yours)

It's the second listing from the top.

    Mister,
thanks a lot for the indication, yes, the SOFT PACK record is the same, BUT (Don't you just love when there is a BUT????) On the listing on Discopatrick site, between "Soap Opera Lover" by Wanda Williams and "Chill Out" by Free Expression there are some .......And That's where the track I need to I.D. Is! That it means that not even him can recognize the tune. Is a Hard nut!

I listened and it does sound vaguely familiar..seems like the chorus is coming just as the clip ends...it always helps to hear the chorus, doesn't it?

...San Francisco in 1982 would be my era...but, alas, I don't have the answer...but I bet someone will figure it out....there are some very expert song identifiers around here.

[afterthought: Oh, now I see even Discopatrick didn't know it...well, good luck then!!!...it sounded familiar...but maybe that's because I listened to the sample before. I have a good ear for remembering what I've heard before...but I'm finding lately that what sounds familiar to me is because someone is reposting it!!! ]
