The Wiz 12" single? HELP PLEASE

Does anyone know if there was a 12" single released of TORNADO by the Wiz Original Cast PLEEEZE :icon_question: -it will probably have been a promo only/radio station - if it was.

yes, a 12" exists.
it has the extended edit of "Tornado" on one side and Hot Chocolate's "Disco Queen" on the other.
it's a test pressing.
it's extremely rare.
and you can't have mine.

Just to co-sign what the others already said, and offer my own view: In the absence of the incredibly rare 12" version...if you have the 45 (which is not edited in any way. it is the SAME LENGTH as the 12"), you will be happy. It does suffer from the deficiencies that a 7" would versus a 12" (lowered bass, a bit compressed) , but that can be fixed with your EQ or any halfway decent PC/MAC based audio program. That's how I fixed mine.....

mine came from my longtime friend, Vince Aletti, who was Record World's disco columnist.

i'd probably never have a reasonable opportunity to replace it.

it would be wrong on so many levels to sell it — at any price.
