    Gloria Gaynor-I Said Yes

So, to commemorate the start of Toronto Pride week I threw "Love Tracks" onto my LP player today and wow, did I ever miss "I Said Yes". The whole "Love Tracks" LP is such a mix-you get "old Gloria" on "Goin' Out Of My Head" and then proto-80's boogie Gloria on "Anybody Wanna Party".

"I Said Yes" is killer though-tight drum beat, very sexy strings and a more typical 1978 sound. Love it and glad I rediscovered it, because frankly, I only have this LP because of the aforementioned "Anybody Wanna Party".

Always fun when you passed over something the first time and then boom! :icon_redface:

I like everything else on this album much more than "I Will Survive".

Ha ha ha ha, oh how I agree Graham. At the first bar I was petrified, kept thinking I could never make it through the B-side, but then I spent so many nights listening to that crappy song, and I grew strong, and I learned how to get along...
