Bay Area discotheques NOT in S.F.

I'm trying to compile a list - however modest - of important '70s discotheques that were in the Bay Area but outside of San Francisco. I know of only two right now, through anecdotes: the Firehouse in Danville (can anyone confirm this?) and Disco Int'l in Oakland.

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks!

In the 80s, before I turned 21, I used to hang out at Tiffany's in Walnut Creek. Even worked there for a bit! It was an underage dance club.

I heard that, back in the late 70's, it was a full-fledged discotheque. I even took a big, black plastic board from there that advertised disco dance lessons at the club during the week.

Other than that, I was too young to hit the bigger places until I turned 21. Then, we used to also go to some place in Pleasanton (can't remember the name!). San Fran, of course (and not what you're looking for), had Studio 57, the Paladium and DV8 that I used to go to.

If you count San Jose/Santa Clara, Tinker's Dam and Savoy.
