I remember a "Don't You Want My Love" by Nicole. (1989)
But I know the Felix cut and I don't recall any similarity.
Concerning mid 90's track:
Felix - Don't you want my love
who did the original "Don't you want my love" from 1984 ?
I'll have a beer on the person who finds this one.
Hint: nothing to do with Debbie Jacobs![]()

"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
Marky, I believe the Nicole McCloud cut is from '86. I do own the 12". Wonder where she went???
Anyway, the Felix sample is not from Nicole.
Must be something else then.. :-?
Ya know, I figured Nicole was from '86--BUT I trusted allmusic.com which said it was from 1989. (That'll teach me).

Ok, Pecs to the rescue!!!
The Felix sample is "stolen" by "Don't you want my love" by the New Jersey Band JOMANDA ( of the immortal lines "I need a rithm to put me in the groove, I need a rhyme to make my body move" fame!!!!)but I'm quite certain that is recorded later than 1984 on BIG BEAT records.
And on another subject, Nicole McCloud released TWO singles in the last year: "One Good Reason" and "Searching"(the second in my opinion is very good) both remixed by Dezrock.

Thanks Pecs, you felt so confident about your reply it had to be Jomanda, recorded 1989.
I luv her voice by the way.
If you buy this record your life, will be better.
Pecs:
is that the same Jomanda who released the new Jack Swing influenced "Nubian Soul" Album in 1993.
I'd swear they look too young on the cover to have been grown ups in 1984.
Yep, they are exactly the same gals (must be something that mama put in the porridge!!), till 1993 they were very much a House act (apart from the classic "Make My Body Rock" , my other favourite track is "Never" (Sasha mix), look for it!!!), with "Nubian Soul" they had a completely change of direction and went for a much more R'n B approach.
