Arrrggghhh!!!! I know this song! I OWN this song!
And I can't remember who it was...
Please, I'm desperately cannot find this disco song.
Last time i've heard it, it was about 25 years ago when I was a kid, and since English is not my first language, I'm not really sure.
The chorus goes like (female solo vocalist):
"Do it to me, and I'll do it to you"
repeat many times
or was it "turn to me" but less probable
As far as I remember there's not much orchestration going on, the song is very catchy and uplifting. Released not later than 1980. Thanks in advance!

Hehehehe, now you have "Where is this record again?" problem. It's nice to have a problem like that.
Sounds to me like it could be Claudja Barry "If I do it to you." YouTube - Claudja Barry - If I Do It To You
"Make me believe in you....show me that love can be true...."

How about this one?
Various - Untitled
Ciao
If you're referrring to Poussez's "Come On And Do It", the lyric would be:
"Do it, do it, do it to me, do it to me", over and over, on one channel.
And "Where'd you learn to funk like that, C'est Bon!" over and over, on the other channel.
With loads of moaning underneath. 1979
Does that sound more like it, Justified?

Heh my "Do it to me" was not slowly soulfully singing, but rather chatting, almost raping in verses. Of course I don't remember lyrics since I didn't know English at that time. Btw, as far as I remember, "my" track had very similar guitar to Poussez's.
But... in the suggested release there's one track I never heard before today, it totally blew my mind, it's so great — Love attack by Ferrara.
Thanks for that Tony.
You're welcome, Justified. Ferrara's track is also one of my favourite ones, although a little long maybe.
I'm sorry to hear that there was not enough raping in the suggested Poussez track. It sounded to me like there was at least some action going on there...
I'll keep digging into my memory banks to see if I come up with any more suggestions.

Could be THP - Good to me (1979)
ciao
Thanks Marcello for trying to help.
But, alas, no it's not that song, btw, "do it to me" in "my song" is said about two times faster than in thp "Do it to" is on the first beat, "me" is on second. "do it to" on 5th beat "you" on 6th , so on.
Well, probably this is all futile, since the song appears not to be wellknown.![]()
i know this song! i've been listening to it ever since i could remember on an old cassette tape my mom's friend from Latvia compiled for her. i don't know the artist though! maybe someone can help us out? I ripped the tape to mp3. it's AWFUL quality, very bass heavy too. someone please I.D. this for us!! "i've got something just for you, you've got something for me too" are the opening lines of the first verse.

other songs on the tape were Pussyfoot's Lay Your Love On The Line, Judy Cheeks' Mellow Lovin', tons of material from Donna Summer's Bad Girls album, and some other euro-disco stuff that I still haven't identified. If you could have a go at it, please check out the three other songs I really would love to identify below.

Muziktrash, yes this is the song I was looking for!
And apparently I had the same mixed LP recorded, because I remember, on my tape it started exactly like in your file: the previous tune was the same.
Now we need someone to hear it and tell us the name of the song.
It's funny that you've mentioned this song because in 1992, Mr. Lee, of the Chicago House Craze, recorded a Hip House Record with the same title. It was pretty hot in the clubs back then too!!! Has anyone ever heard it?
'NUFF SAID
Sure I've heard of it...

Andrew
Dammm,,, while I was checking there so many posts???
Oh well and I was wrong also :-(
Thank you discofunker! I can't believe I'm hearing this song in full and in clean quality.
Any idea what the other 3 songs are and whom they are performed by?
The song is "King Tim III (Personality Jock)" by the Fatback Band in 1979.
