A curious fledgling label coming out of Washington DC in the midst of the disco era :
unabashedly Staple Singers like
Brian Holland!
note: label reads compatible "disco" stereo
anything to discuss here ???

I have the 12" single from Chairman of the Board entitled "Come On and Dance" and have to say it is okay. Not horrible by any stretch, just okay. Think what would happen if TK had merged with Motown. Hard to describe the sound :icon_question:
It's in the Disco Record Vault: Chairman of the Board Come On In and Dance (12") Disco Music.com
Bernie (Bernard Lopez)
Owner/publisher of DiscoMusic.com - on the web since 1996.
DiscoMusic.com on Facebook and MySpace
I've heard from the artists' names but not from the label or the specific tracks in particular.
Here are some more titles listed :

ICA @ discogs.com
Here's my copy of L.V. Johnson's "Let yourself go". It's an all-out stomper, but it does get repetitive...
Funny thing, I was positive I'd noticed they'd cleverly misspelled the label: Independance Corporation of America. I was going to point that out, but upon checking, it seems it's spelled in the most Webster-approved, plain & correct way. Placing "dance" in an otherwise mainstream and boring corporate denomination would have been the whole point of choosing such a name, after all!!
...Boogie Boogie Boogie Boogaaaaaay.....
I don't know anything about the label except that it had this track:
William Stuckey - Disco Fly
It's got a funky break beat in the middle, which I really dig.
Disco Funk
