You got to bone it like you own it
Besides the not-quite-disco ones you could add (Frank Sinatra's "Theme from New York, New York," Barry Manilow's "New York City Rhythm," Lou Reed's "Walk on the Wild Side"), I'd throw in:
Andrea True Connection's "N.Y. You Got Me Dancing" and the sublime "Backtrack" by Cerrone.
Thanks Tmob for the suggestions.

I will add:
"Manhattan Shuffle" - Extensions from Area Code (212)
"Manhattan Love Song" - King Errisson
"Manhattan Melody" - Herb Alpert
"Manhattan Skyline" - David Shire (SNF)
"New York By Night" - Dennis Parker
"New York City" - Miroslav Vitous

Thanks guys for all the sugestions. I just realized that if I used all the songs with New York in the lyrics it would be too much. Does anyone have other suggestions for songs that do not mention New York within the lyrics but are synonymous with the city. An example is Tim Curry's "Paradise Garage" or Lisa's "Jump Shout" where she mentions The Saint and other famous discos of New York. Looking forward to your suggestions.
