Techniques Turntables - Where To Buy In Canada?

I'm interested in purchasing a new Technics turntable - either the 1200 MK2 series or the 1200 MK 5 series. Anyone have any ideas where I can pick up one here in Canada for a reasonable price. I see on the US Technics site these go for $549.95 and $599.95 US - would think because the CAD dollar is doing well the price should be comparable for Canadian customers. I'd prefer to purchase in store or via mail order.

Your best bet is probably your local DJ store.

If you want a decent (as in listening, not DJ) cartridge though, you pretty much have to order one online from the US. Everything I see locally is either low-end garbage or esoteric high-end ones with four-figure price tags. I picked up my Audio Technica AT150MLX on a trip to NYC a few months ago.
