Red face Male falsetto, in refrain: "Come on, come on, come on, come on and gimme some"

This song may be by Sylvester, but the only part of the lyrics I know are in the refrain:

    (Line here, ends in "case"??)
    Gimme some funky bass
Gotta get up on the drum (?)
Come on, come on, come on, come on and gimme some
    (Musical interlude follows......)

I got this on a tape in the early 1990s while living in Chicago but it sounds very 80s. Tape was stolen years ago, I kept thinking I would hear the song again but I haven't. (!) Please help me scratch this itch!

    Cheers and thanks in advance!

What you're writing, reads like "Melodies" by Made In USA.
But that's a female vocal (tho' high pitched), and from 1977 / Delite Records
    Here's her 3 ad-lib sections...

Get Up Off Of Your Case
And Gimme Some Funk For Days
Get Up Off Of Your Case
And Gimme Some Funk For Days

Gotta, Gotta Get On The Drums
Come On An Give Me Some
Gotta, Gotta Get On The Drums
Come On, Come On, Come On, Come On, Come On And Gimme Some

Come On Move With The Beat
And Get Up Outta Your Seat
    Six Strings On The Strum
    Come On And Gimme Some

    Stephen,

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! OMG....this is it! I found a link to it on YouTube and have just had a joyous flashback. I don't really remember the part before the ad lib, but hearing everything past that part again for the first time in years......I had total deja vu in my whole being. That was a super-terrific time in my life and house music and dancing were a huge part of that for me and my friends. Songs like this are so full of joy, just for the sake of joy and being alive and love and good things. Yay!

Again, thank you so much. This really means a lot to me to bring this song back into my life. It's been on my mind for 10 or 11 years!

    Cheers!
