Angry The Decline Of Computerised Voting!

Voting, can it be trusted? Apparently not when there are PC's involved! Today Holland has banned the electronic voting and has returned to paper and crayon after a TV-show had revealed that fraud was as easy as 1-2-3!

In Belgium we still use the machines but for how long?

Other countries, however, will follow the Dutch decision or they are putting their plans on hold.

Here's the documentary that reveals it all, in Dutch with English subtitles. Watch and think! Is your vote really your vote?

I don't trust electronic voting either simply because of the possiblity of fraud and the lack of a paper trail. We can get a receipt when use an ATM, but not when we vote? That makes no sense.

It's for these reasons why I voted by an absentee ballot in the last Presidential elwction.

That's the discussion we have here too. Why is it so difficult to get a little piece of paper that proves that the vote you casted was genuine?

Now you don't have any proof.
