Piece of disco instrumental played at last Olympics

During the opening ceremonies at the Olympics in Utah last year, and right before the flame was lighted (as I remember), I heard a piece of a disco instrumental which I believe was popular in 1977. Does someone know what the name of it is?

I found out today, and by accident at that, that the piece I've been trying to identify is "Magic Bird of Fire" by the Salsoul Orchestra. Thank you for trying to help me!
