Not so hard after all.
Is an amazing Track produced by THE BASEMENT BOYS and is called
THOSE GUYS - TONITE (1991 MCA)
with Eleanor Mills at the vocals.
Enjoy!
There is a house track from the mid-nineties that starts with a couple of women having a conversation, where one is describing to the other a sexual encounter she had in a car.
The last lines are: "You mean you gave it up in a BUICK?"
"Honey, it was WONDERFUL"
The chorus is "Tell him that I want to make love to him tonight"
Can anyone help me with the title and artist?
Thanks!

LOOOOOOOVE this song!!!!
If Thommy & Mr. Pecs LOOOOOVE it ---I gotta get it!!!
Let me check the YouTube..... found it!!!
YouTube - Those Guys - Tonite
P.S. Read the comments posted under the video ... the Househeads are all nostalgic for the good old days of House....Isn't it ironic, don'cha think????:icon_exclaim:
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
Wow!!! Thanks, Marky, for having posted that one!!!
I hadn't made the connection between the "Buick" speech and this dreamy "Tonite" track (I probably never heard the intro at the time). What a burst of great early-morning memories!!! That fluctuating synth background and repeated "tonight"s were hypnotizing!!
...Boogie Boogie Boogie Boogaaaaaay.....
Thanks for the posts everyone and reuniting me with a track that helped define a decade.
I have a new one for you...there was a track back in the eighties called "Satellite", and I thought that the band was OMD (Orchestral Maneuvres in the Dark), but I can't seem to find it in any discography by that band, so I assume that was done by someone else. The hook is:
"I'm...I'm just your satellite, watching you..."
This quest is going on 20 years!
Regarding the Those Guys track, it's nice that they credited Eleanor Mills (sister of Stephanie Mills & they sampled her 'Mr. Right' 80s track) 'cos so many modern sample tracks never credit the original artist/diva.
I remember Pete Tong used to play the Those Guys track in the early 90s on his Friday nite radio show; it is rather good but a tad too repetitive like so many house tracks IMO.
...ya gotta beat the street......
Thanks for the info Sandy...I didn't know she was Stephanie's sister....and......... truth be told-- I was disappointed with the track....I only listened twice...but it didn't float my boat :icon_confused:...but since Thommy, KoolChris & Mr. Pecs are fans, I will give it a few more listens. Maybe ya had to be there?

"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
It's funny 'cos at the time I thought it was quite good as I really liked 'deep house' such as Larry Heard but since I've got back into the 70s & early 80s stuff I find this house music very repetitive & formulaic & a bit lacking in class but it still sounds quite atmospheric & sleazy so it's not all bad!Try listening to Eleanor's original track marky, I'm sure you'll like it better as I think I know your tastes quite well after all this time.

"A" for effort, SandraDee, but that isn't the track. Just checked it out on YouTube. The one that I am looking for had a slow, pulsing beat and the vocalist had a much deeper voice.
But those lines of dialogue you gave as clues...are in the "Tonite" track exactly as you posted:
So Sexii, you got some 'splainin' to do. :icon_lol:There is a house track from the mid-nineties that starts with a couple of women having a conversation, where one is describing to the other a sexual encounter she had in a car.
