Arrow Celebrating: 30 Years BMW M1

BMW is celebrating the fact that 30 years ago the legendary M1 was released and...they made a new one. For now only a concept car but who knows, maybe it'll be released in the near future because it's a well known secret that the Munich based manufacturer is developping a new super sports car !

Originally conceived as the BMW Turbo by Paul Bracq, it was master designer Georgetto Giugiaro who turned the original idea into the M1 that we still know and love today. Maybe it even was the ultimate DISCO car?

How gorgeous was that BMW? I always felt that it had a touch of Maserati Merak/Bora about it. The late 70s was just as fabulous for cars as it was for music!
    ...ya gotta beat the street......
