How bizarre! The puppet thingys are very cute aren't they? How remarkable that the real Agnetha (very briefly) turned up 'cos she's a total recluse these days!![]()
And of course the following years they became legendZ.

Sandee,
Was that Agnetha, wearing black, looking through the doorway of the record guy's office??? :icon_question::icon_eek::icon_exclaim:
The receptionist's totally ABBA lyrics dialogue is hysterically funny...is that actress someone well-known in England??
ditto the other folks in the waiitng room
[ rejected man:
"I work all day to get my pay'...
man/woman couple: "ain't it sad"]... :icon_lol::icon_lol::icon_lol: I LOL-ed...Really.
So am I to conclude from the 4 signatures at the end that this was produced by ABBA themselves as a gift to the fans??? Was Frida in there??? Didn't see her.... :icon_eek:
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
This is a classic vid from 2004, especially made for the Eurovision Song Contest.
The secretary is played by Sissela Kyle and, yes, all the "ABBA's" are appearing in the vid. That's the fun part of it: discover them :icon_mrgreen:

Thanks for the info VS....I'm still perplexed as to where Frida appears. :icon_eek: OK, I'll watch again.![]()
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
OK. I get it. the elegant blonde/white-haired woman in black looking through the doorway, whom I thought was Agnetha, is actually Frida and Agnetha appears behind her in the same shot. Totally woulda missed this if not for the comments here...the guys were obvious...they haven't changed much.
Frida is looking kinda Vanessa Redgrave willowy, isn't she?Agnetha looks like a housfrau...."soccer mom" to the Amuricuns...thought she'd be more GLAM!!

"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
No Blanche, she's just what I'd expect 'cos she's more or less turned her back on showbiz these days & has always been the early to bed 'earth mother' type (you're spot-on with the housfrau observation!), whilst Frida was always the nightlife-loving glam one. Frida can nowadays live out her glam lifestyle as she's married into German aristocracy which is good 'cos the guys came out of Abba with the money as they wrote the stuff. The guys said they were ripped off loads by their manager Stig Anderson but they must still be stinking rich surely.:icon_confused::icon_eek:
...ya gotta beat the street......
The only one of the actors that I'm familiar with is the record company boss played by Rik Mayall who's very well-known here in the UK for playing sleazy or gross OTT characters.
...ya gotta beat the street......
Reading the imdb credits, it appears that most of the supporting cast is Swedish...the secretay, who I thought might be a Brit with a fake accent, is a Swedish actress with lotsa credits that haven't been translated into English!!!
It was that Rik Mayall, who I recognized, that made me think this was done in Britain with Brit actors...but that's just a supposition on my part.:icon_eek::icon_exclaim:
So SanDee... you're telling me that the ABBA girls are not fabulously RICH???? I thought their royalties were the equivalent of the economy of a third world country...just as performers.![]()
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
Well when they were at their peak in the late 70s there was much publicity saying that they were the 2nd biggest export from Sweden of all-time after Volvo so you'd think they were minted (they owned whole islands for crissakes!:icon_eek:) but recently the guys said that they lost millions through mis-management but they had re-couped due to the mega success of the Mamma Mia musical. I figured if the guys weren't that rich then the gals, well, Agnetha, were even worse off. I can't believe it though; if they needed the money they would surely have relented to the endless pressure to reform. Personally, I'm so pleased that they never got back together as I like to live with the memories of them in their prime - a unique & talented perfect pop act. I always find comebacks disappointing & it ultimately cheapens the act IMO.Grow old gracefully I say.:icon_lol:
