Can't tell you the remixes' names, but the vocals came from:
    1) I May Not Be There When You Want Me (But I'm Right On Time)
    Loleatta Holloway (1978)
    2) Hope (Never Give Up)
    Loveland feat. Rachel McFarlane (1994)

I'd gotten the Loleatta Holloway sample alright, but I'm afraid it hasn't helped lead to the actual track wanted. I'll just have to keep on looking...

I checked the Loveland track, and that's it!! Thanks!!

Track 3 is Kim English - Nitelife not sure which mix though
YouTube - Kim English - Nite Life(Van Helden remix)

PS love how the lyrics 'in the nitelife' became 'tossing the navy out' :-)

    Right on!!

Thanks so much for the IDs!!

I just ordered the Loleatta Holloway single, and am still trying to figure out, from online record store samples, which remix the Kim English track might be, out of the (apparently) millions of remixes made...

Thanks again, Stephen and Phyllis, for your help in ending a 10 + year search...
