Heard it in a store and it eluded me for weeks. Tracked it down with "as she rises to her apology"

Hey,
So I was at work today and this song came on. Stupid bread slicer - all i could hear is the words. Its not totally disco its a bit slower i think.
I'm pretty sure there is a black male singer in there who at one point says "everybody else will surely know " or something that sounds like that and then it goes into the chorus which has a synth backing going back from two notes like 1,1-2-1-2-1-1-2-1,1-2. and the chorus is repeated several times during the end, i dont know if this it helps but it goes like this.
(and everbody else will surely know(the synth pattern starts)and dude continutes singing : lalala la laaaa (synth goes A, C, C#, D!!!!!, in 4 eighth notes) la la Laaaaaaaaaaa, la la Laaaaaaaa,(that part sounds like the Bee Gees are singing it and this:) la la lala lala. and then it loops
I hope someone can connect and know what song im talking about or can play that note selection on a piano.
Thanks,
Xero
