I agree with you Dayna on this one. Its a pretty good album. I love the tracks Lady Night and Swiss Kiss - I actually think these two tracks are better than I Love America etc on his first LP. Great Morali/Belolo music.
I just got the Patrick Juvet ,"Lady Night" CD..I was told by alot of people it was weak and a waste of money
But I find it to be quite lovely..
I didn't realize it was produced by Jacques Morali and Henri Belolo ..
I particularly like Track 4
The Gay Paris
French Pillow talk
Thanks Johan/Video Scooter for introducing me to that track..Those producers definately put a Gay spin on things
even the lady he speaks of in Viva Californina with pretty eyes Eyes and Golden hair seems suspect ..
he speaks about how fashionable she is:icon_eek:lol..most STRAIGHT men would be all about the T and A
The track should be called what it really means..
Viva San Francisco.
But too bad for us girls because I think he's pretty Hot:icon_biggrin:

I still prefer his pre-Morali album "Paris By Night". It was produced by Jean Michel Jarre, before he went on to become famous in his own right.
The original "Ou Sont Les Femmes?" easily beats the English remake "Where Is My Woman?"
Lady Night is a cool album. It picks up where the Got A Feeling LP left off. It has that village people's band sound that was pretty much all over the Jacques Morali-produced stuff in the late 70s, after he stopped using the MFSB guys.
And I agree that the original Ou Sont Les Femmes is a way better version than the english remake. The instrumentation is just funkier and harder, even though the village people band guys were funky jammers in their own right. I guess should never have tried remaking it because it was too hard to top.
